Right after the snow melts the mountain pastures shines in fresh spring green. Snow roses and crocuses bloom and color the landscape. The location of our Chalet is ideal for immersing yourself in the mountains. Numerous hiking trails start right behind the house and lead to nearby huts or to the surrounding mountain peaks. Forest paths and climbs of all levels of difficulty make the hearts of hikers and mountaineers beat faster and mountain bikers will also get their money's worth here!

It is only a short walk to get to the idyllic Flattnitzer See, a very special place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. But other lakes are also within easy reach. After a short drive, the Goggau and Maltschachersee lakes offer refreshing cooling. The famous large Carinthian lakes such as the Wörthersee and the Ossiacher See can be reached within an hour. In the municipality of Glödnitz there is a natural swimming area with a lawn, idyllic water and relaxation areas, a children's playground, beach volleyball court, an adjacent skate park, soccer field and tennis courts.

Many excursion destinations in the area invite you to enjoy history, art and culture. The Central Carinthia region has countless castles and palaces, museums and exhibitions to find out interesting facts about the country and its people and to enrich your own knowledge.

In Flattnitz you can really relax and unwind.
